Weekend Outdoor Activities - JanuaryEvery year, the Fernand-Léger Outdoor Rink committee offers a weekend full of activities before returning to school following the Christmas break. Hours of skating, a cup of hot chocolate, a bonfire, music and a giant snow hill allows families to enjoy the joys of winter.

Hockey Tournament - FebruaryThe local hockey players form teams and have fun playing against each other on the ice of the outdoor rink in an effort to win the title of the tournament champions.

Nutrition Workshop - MarchTo highlight nutrition month, a registered dietitian from the region offers a nutrition workshop on a topic related to food and people’s well-being. Tips and tools are shared to promote healthy eating habits.

Easter Activity - MarchEaster is celebrated with a family activity that includes an egg hunt, crafts and a visit from the Easter bunny.

Mass Registration - April and SeptemberIn the spring and fall, a mass registration is organized for sports and recreation in the Kent-South region. This is an opportunity for parents and children to register for the activities of their choice and learn more about the different programs offered in the region.

Community Cleanup - MayIn order to keep the community clean and preserve the environment, citizens are invited to choose a street, a neighborhood or the surroundings of their property and pick up the garbage at a time that is convenient for them.

Community Garage Sale - MayThe Champdoré annual community garage sale is an event that attracts thousands of people each year. Citizens with items for sale can register for $5 and a map of participating addresses is available for those looking for great deals.

Bike Rodeo - JuneIn partnership with Vélo Kent, the bike rodeo is an opportunity to educate young people aged 5 to 11 years old about the importance of safe bicycle riding, to learn some hand signals and the rules of the road, to check the bicycle and to adjust the protective helmet. Various stations will put their skills and techniques into practice.

Canada Day - JulyEach year, Canada Day is celebrated in Champdoré. The festivities include the official ceremony, the flag raising ceremony, a barbecue, music, the cake cutting ceremony and inflatable games for children. It’s a way for citizens to show their pride and remember that Canada is one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

Water Games Day - July/ AugustOn a beautiful hot summer day, children ages 5 to 12 are invited to come to the Community Park for a variety of games.

 Champdoré celebrates August 15th with a family event that includes music, activities for children, cake and a great day of fun with the whole community.

Yvon LeBlanc Run - SeptemberSince 2016, an official race has been held in the streets of Champdoré during the Fall Colors Festival . Adults and children in the area are encouraged to walk or run a 15K, 5K or 1K fun run in order to raise money for the Kent KidSport program.

Open House - OctoberAs part of Fire Prevention Week, the Saint-Antoine Fire Department invites the population to join them for an open house at the fire station. A tour of the station and trucks, demonstrations and a barbecue are scheduled.

Halloween Activity - OctoberSmall and big monsters, superheroes, witches, vampires and princesses are invited to participate in Halloween-themed activities. Children in costumes will receive a bag of candies.

Craft and Bake Sale - NovemberPeople of the Champdoré region are talented and in November, the municipality organizes a craft and bake sale to allow everyone to discover and share.

Remembrance Day Ceremony - NovemberEach year, a ceremony is held in Champdoré to pay tribute to the veterans. The Remembrance Day ceremony begins at the Saint-Antoine Community Centre, followed by the parade at the Veterans Monument.

Tree Lighting Ceremony - NovemberIn November, a tree lighting ceremony is held to raise funds for the Tree of Hope Campaign and collect non-perishable food items for the local food bank. Testimonials, Christmas music and hot chocolate are on the schedule.
