A 27-person volunteer fire brigade serves the Village of Saint-Antoine. They are also first responders for emergency situations in our territory.
As well, the brigade provides support to the communities of Bouctouche, Cocagne and St-Paul.
Each fall, the brigade conducts a recruiting session. To become a member, you must be 18 years of age and live within the municipal boundary. All candidates whose applications are selected must undergo Criminal Record verification by the RCMP. If you are interested to become a volunteer firefighter, you may complete the application at any time during the year. We will contact you in September if your application is selected for the interviews and tests.
As a result of the rehabilitation of the existing municipal water storage reservoir on Rue des Art and the dryness, it is requested that residents minimize their water usage. It is anticipated that the reservoir rehabilitation should be completed by early November 2020 and return to normal operation.
The next municipal council public meeting will be on Tuesday October 27th at the Saint-Antoine Community Centre. Welcome to all citizens.
The municipal office will be closed on Wednesday November 11th for Remembrance Day. The garbage pick-up will be on Thursday November 12th instead of Wednesday November 11th.
