A 27-person volunteer fire brigade serves the Village of Saint-Antoine. They are also first responders for emergency situations in our territory.
As well, the brigade provides support to the communities of Bouctouche, Cocagne and St-Paul.
Each fall, the brigade conducts a recruiting session. To become a member, you must be 18 years of age and live within the municipal boundary. All candidates whose applications are selected must undergo Criminal Record verification by the RCMP. If you are interested to become a volunteer firefighter, you may complete the application at any time during the year. We will contact you in September if your application is selected for the interviews and tests.
During the next few weeks, the municipal employees will be flushing the sanitary sewer system. It is recommended to keep the toilet lids closed when not in use. The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience.
The playground at the community park remains closed until further notice. The municipality does not have the resources necessary to meet the provincial sanitation guidelines. The outdoor equipment is not disinfected.
The dog park is now open, but users must practice physical distancing (distance of 2 metres) from others at all times. If the measures are not respected, the municipality will close the park immediately.
